Residents at Friston House Care Home in Rochester were delighted when they had 15 motorbikes pull up outside the care home on Saturday.

The residents got the opportunity to look around at 15 bikes from the Triumph Owners Motor Cycle Club, residents were fascinated when they got to learn about the history and stories behind the motorbikes.

Terry a resident at Friston House, enjoyed the event and was interested to learn about the different bikes. Terry worked for Ford in his working career and also worked for a while on AJS and Matchless Motorcycles which he is very fond of talking about.

Penny, another resident at Friston House enjoyed the event so much she even got to have a sit on the motorbike which she found very exciting.

We made the most of the lovely weather and the residents got a chance to bathe in the beautiful sunshine which was very good for their mental health and wellbeing.

The Triumph Owners Motor Cycle Club is a local group for owners of Triumph Motorcyles who meet up on a regular basis and attend multiple events throughout the year.
