Friston House care home in Rochester was full of animal mischief when the mobile farm came to visit the home.
Residents at Friston House were pleasantly surprised to see animals such as Tortoises, Snakes and Guinea Pigs roaming around their home as River Rodents and Reptiles paid a visit.
General Manager Sandra Verrell said: “Our residents have really enjoyed their visitors today. We knew that having the rodents and reptiles here would be a bit of fun for all our residents, especially as some find it difficult to go on many outings in our minibus. The team are always looking for new activities for the residents and today we have seen the seen the enjoyment and the therapeutic influence animals can have on people.”
Resident Joan was very excited and touched by the River Rodents and Reptiles animals: Today was very enjoyable and it was wonderful that the animals were able to join us for a cuddle.
