Love Medway Radio is a self-funded project which is in its infancy and currently without any revenue. It has been set up by two locals – Neil Hutchings and Daniel Austin, residents of Rochester. Neil is a Man of Kent and Dan hails from South East London. Their goal is to create an independent local radio station for the Medway Towns, serving the community and offering entertainment to the listener.

ADVERTISING

We want to start running traditional advertising slots on the station as our listenership grows. Latest stats (end of Nov) show 1,300 listeners across 30 days (growth of 31%). We’re currently offering low-cost packages that reflect these numbers, which are steadily growing.

VOLUNTEER

At this early stage in the station’s life, we have no premises or funding, so we need volunteers to help us fill slots in the schedule and present shows on the station.
